Solgar NAC N-Acetyl Cysteine 600mg (60 Vegetable Capsules) is one of Solgar’s premium-quality amino acid range products, containing N-Acetyl-L-Cysteine, an amino acid which offers powerful liver detoxification properties and helps to produce Glutathione. It occurs naturally in Keratin, which it helps to synthesise for healthy skin, hair and nails.
Amino acids are the building blocks of protein and are required for a number of internal functions of the body. They are divided into ‘essential’ and ‘non-essential’ variants, with essential amino acids not being manufactured by the body and needing to be provided in the diet to maintain good overall health. Amino acids can be further utilised by the body to create hormones, enzymes, neurotransmitters, antibodies and nutrient carriers.
